Eevi is Footlight's own student. She started in Footlight's special training group in 2013, her main disciplines being show and contemporary dance.
During the special training and competition group years, experience was also gained in ballet, jazz, hip-hop and tap. Before this, she competed for several years in team gymnastics. While dancing at Footlight, Eevi actively participated in competitions both in Finland and abroad.
Eevi returned to dance as a teacher in 2021 and currently teaches show dance and children's dance. As a teacher, Eevi believes in learning through positive doing and is encouraging and energetic in her classes. In classes, the most important thing is Dancing together and learning new skills and techniques in a safe environment.
In the dance class, in addition to dance technique and expression, social skills are also learned, and the ability to work as part of a group is increased.
In Eevi's opinion, these knowledge and skills also apply outside the dance hall, and therefore pays special attention to them when teaching.
